I love old covered bridges, too, even though I'm yet to see one live! ...so yeah, Bridges of Madison County is probably to blame. :) Funny, this one actually reminds me of the covered fishing piers in the Finnish archipelago!
Yup, covered bridges are pretty amazing :) And I so agree about the fishing piers! In all honesty the whole southern Vermont reminds me of Finland :D
I was thinking of the movie Bridges of Madison County also. One of my definite favourites. Such a pretty bridge!
The only place that's reminded me of Finland here is eastern Minnesota. I would love to travel in New England though, I think I'll have to put their covered bridges on my "list" as well.
