What the future brings....

Lately I've been wondering about my future. I've been trying to go through different possibilities and I'm really not sure what I'll end up doing or how I'll end up being.

For now, the only thing I've really decided is to change my major and I'm quite happy with that choice. I can't think of writing a master thesis on any of my other options.

I don't even have any clue where I'll be living next year. I know I'm going to be in my home country this fall, but what about spring? I'm kinda torn between two countries. I love my home country, but I also love my adoptive home country :) And I love my boyfriend, but I also love my family and friends.

Wherever I end up living in, I have no clue what I'd be doing. In fact I'm quite clueless and it worries me.

At least I'm working hard and it keeps me occupied. For now.

Happy Mother's Day!

It has been a great weekend, visited lots of relatives, made my mom happy :)
I'm so glad I have my mom, she's def always been there for me. Everytime I come back to my home country, I'm always welcome to come and stay at home. And she takes care of my puppy when I'm gone, which I'm more than grateful for. I honestly wouldn't be able to be with my boyfriend, if my mom wasn't so understanding.

So, from the bottom of my heart, thanks for being there for me mom :)

Wednesday and I'm Happy!!

So, I got the job I interviewed for :) I'll be working every weekday from here on until I leave the country for summer. Time will definately fly by now and it's only a good thing. Too much idle time just makes me miss my bf even more.
I'm in a very good mood now, I wasn't when I woke up. I woke up at 4am again thanks to the jetlag and haven't slept since. But it turned out to be such a good day, my short shift was soooo easy at work and I landed that new job. I'm all smiles :)

Monday, May 7, 2007 least it is sunny

It doesn't really matter to me which day of the week it is right now since I'm not working.
On that note, I went to a recruiting firm today to see if they'd have something for me. They had plenty of jobs (beats me why there's so many unemployed people...) but only a few short enough for me. It's kinda hard trying to find a job for only few weeks, but as I won't be in the country more than that, I can't accept a long term job.
Idleness doesn't really suit me tho. I feel the need to do little things. Thank God for cross stiching haha. Later this month I'm taking a class at the summer university, something to do at least.
I feel like napping again...hate the jetlag.

Yesterday I couldn't sleep because of the time difference again. I stayed up until 5am...sun was rising when I finally fell asleep.
Since I clearly couldn't fall asleep I read a book. Andrew Taylor's 'Where Roses Fade'.
I love the Lydmouth series. I especially like the character of Jill Francis, she seems so strong, while being vulnerable...human.
The night before I read Simon Brett's 'Murder in the Museum'. (I'm obviously a fan of murder mysteries :) Not a literary masterpiece in my opinion, but highly entertaining.

My first post

Well, I started a blog. Didn't think I ever would. I guess I'm way more lonelier than I thought haha.

So I'm a girl, who reads a lot, travels a lot, lives in two countries 4000 miles apart, misses her boyfriend when she is in the other country, misses her family and friends when she is in the other.
